Privacy Policy — how we handle what you trust us with.

Written plainly. What we collect, why we need it, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 28 April 2026

This is a privacy policy for a care coordination service. The information involved — health observations, routines, medications, photographs — is sensitive by nature. We have written this in plain language so you know exactly what happens with it.

Personal Information

You ("the User") and Pehradar Elder Care ("Pehradar") enter into this arrangement voluntarily. Pehradar owns and operates www.pehradar.com and provides elder care coordination services, collectively referred to as the "Pehradar Service".

You have the right not to supply personally identifiable information. If you choose to use this website or share your data with the Pehradar Service, it is solely at your own volition and risk, after reading and confirming your agreement to this Privacy Policy.

When using the Pehradar Service, you will share certain personal information with us. This includes identifiable information (name, address, mobile number, email, IP address, payment details) as well as sensitive personal information regarding your parents — health observations, daily routines, and medical history.

Consent and Data Usage

In alignment with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), we collect and process data only for the specified, lawful purpose of providing care coordination, and only with your explicit and informed consent.

Everything we learn about your parent is treated as strictly private. We share this information only with the named primary contact, and solely for the purpose of your parent's care.

Photographs taken during wellness visits are shared exclusively with the primary contact as part of routine updates. They will never be shared on social media, marketing materials, or with any third party without explicit written consent from both you and your parent.

Protection of Information Storage

Visit records, health observations, and care notes are stored securely in a password-protected system. Pehradar takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect your data using industry best practices and security measures.

We must acknowledge, however, that no digital service is completely invulnerable to risk. We also use WhatsApp as our primary channel for routine weekly updates — it is not a clinically secure platform. Sensitive test results or diagnoses of a particularly private nature will always be communicated via direct phone call, not message.

Cookies and Technical Identifiers

Pehradar may place text files called "cookies" or use other technical identifiers on your device. These do not contain personal information directly, but they allow the website to relate your browsing to information you have provided — enabling us to remember your preferences and ensure the site functions smoothly.

Information Sharing and Disclosures

Pehradar does not handle payments between patients and clinical partners directly and maintains strict financial separation between these relationships. We will only share your parent's details with clinical partners (such as doctors, hospitals, or diagnostic labs) to coordinate care when you have explicitly requested and consented to those consultations.

If Pehradar is required to disclose personal information to assist a government authority, comply with a court order, or protect the vital interests of the user or parent, we will do so in accordance with applicable law.

If a situation creates a genuine and immediate risk to your parent's safety, we will disclose the minimum necessary information to emergency responders to protect them.

Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the following rights regarding your data:

  • The right to access information about how your personal data is being processed.
  • The right to correction and erasure of your data.
  • The right to nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • The right to grievance redressal — a named Grievance Officer is listed at the bottom of this page.

Data Retention and Deletion

Pehradar retains personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. If our service arrangement ends for any reason, we will provide you with a full copy of your parent's care records, then permanently delete all our copies within 30 days of the service end date.

You may also request the deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Children's Privacy

Pehradar's services are intended for adult users seeking care coordination for their elderly parents. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Pehradar reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will always use your personal information in a manner consistent with the policy in effect at the time you shared it. You are encouraged to review this page periodically. By continuing to use the Pehradar Service after a change is made, you acknowledge your acceptance of the updated policy.
